Turn off "Random hardware addresses" first

Windows can give your laptop a random Wi-Fi address (MAC) for privacy. The vendo uses this address to remember your paid and paused time. If it changes, your time seems to disappear.

Windows 11

  1. Open Settings → Network & internet → Wi-Fi.
  2. Click the Piso WiFi network's properties.
  3. Set Random hardware addresses to Off.

Windows 10

  1. Open Settings → Network & Internet → Wi-Fi.
  2. Click the connected network.
  3. Turn Use random hardware addresses for this network to Off.

Do this before inserting coins. If you change it after paying, the vendo sees a new device.

Pause and resume on Windows

  1. Open http://10.0.0.1 while connected.
  2. Click Pause Time. Your countdown stops and the internet is cut.
  3. To continue, connect again with the same laptop, open 10.0.0.1 and click Resume.
