What is a Piso WiFi vendo machine?
A Piso WiFi vendo is the box on the wall that takes your coins and gives you internet time. Inside, most machines have the same basic parts:

How pause time works inside the vendo
The vendo software keeps a list of devices that paid. Each phone is recognised by its MAC address, a hardware ID of its Wi-Fi chip. Next to each address the software stores your remaining minutes and your status.
- Running: your phone is allowed online and your minutes count down every second.
- Paused: when you tap Pause Time, the software saves your remaining minutes, stops the countdown and blocks your phone from the internet.
- Resumed: when you tap Resume, your phone is allowed back online and the countdown continues from the saved number.
- Expired: when time reaches zero, or a pause limit runs out, the session ends.
Because the vendo tracks your phone, not you, you must resume on the same device. If your phone changes its Wi-Fi address, the machine thinks you are a new customer. See private MAC address.
How to pause time on any vendo
- Connect to the vendo's Wi-Fi and open
http://10.0.0.1. - Check that you have time left on the timer.
- Tap Pause Time (sometimes Pause or a ⏸ icon).
- Later, open
10.0.0.1on the same phone and tap Resume.

Why the machine may not pause
- Pause is switched off. Owners choose whether to offer pause. Some only allow it for coins, not vouchers.
- Pause limit. Many vendos end a paused session after a set time, for example one hour or one day.
- Limited pauses. Some setups only allow one or a few pauses per session.
- Old software. Older firmware may not have a pause feature at all.
- Machine restarted. A brown-out or restart can clear sessions on some systems.
Unplugging or switching off your Wi-Fi does not pause your time. The countdown runs inside the vendo.
Is there a "pause time machine" hack?
You may see videos or files called "pause time machine" or "free time" tools. They are not official features. Many are scams that ask for your account details or install malware, and using tools to get time without paying takes money from small store owners. We do not share or support them. The only real pause is the button on the portal.
For owners: setting fair pause time
If you run a vendo, pause settings directly affect customer trust. Customers return to stores where their coins are not wasted.

- Keep the vendo out of direct rain and sun; heat shortens the life of the board and power supply.
- Use a surge protector or AVR. Power spikes can corrupt the memory card and erase sessions.
- Clean the coin slot regularly so coins are not rejected.
- Restart the vendo during quiet hours, not when many customers are paused.
